Kemson Concept (Nigeria) Limited  is setting up an innovative pilot project in Nigeria to provide a variety of banking and payment solution services for Micro Finance Institutions across the country. The aim is to offer modern banking and payment facilities to the majority of the unbanked population located mainly in rural areas. It is required to employ latest communication, networking and banking technology to achieve this target.

Probanx Information System Ltd. is ready to participate in this project by offering their Micro finance banking solution as well as their know-how and services.

Probanx Information System Ltd appoints Kemson Concept (Nigeria) Limited as Partner and Distributor of Probanx hosted banking solutions.

Probanx is ready to provide the banking software and assist in the project management to setup an IT hosting solution. The target is to provide an integrated platform for banking and payment services for more than 100 Micro Finance Banks.

A central payment and clearing solution will facilitate the automation of transfer of funds from accounts of clients at different banks connected to the KemTRANS project. Funds transfers or loan repayments could also be effected online in real-time, thereby dramatically reducing the time and cost per transaction. It shall cover the inter bank domestic transfers and cheque clearing, and the money transfer between branches of different banks.

Using the same central clearing solution, we can provide a credit risk database. This will help all participating banks to enquire about any client applying for a loan, and provide them with credit information collected from all member institutions, thereby dramatically reducing the amount of bad loans and credit fraud. This technology is the basis for KemTRANS Credit Bureau for the banking industry in Nigeria.

c. Electronic self-service Kiosks (e-Kiosks).

Probanx MFS delivers a banking solution with browser based technology. This system ensures platform independence on the workstations and high performance on low bandwidth connectivity with central server database processing. We use the latest .net technology from Microsoft: DotNet 3.0, XML, and web services and programming in C#. The branches can be connected via leased lines, Satellite link, ASDL or even wireless networks.
